Line Pipe
Based on its advantage in a complete process of puddling 每 steelmaking 每 hot rolled steel roils 每 HFW (ERW) pipes 每 coating, Baosteel is able to produce HFW (ERW) pipes in accordance with standards such as API Spec 5L/ISO 3183/DNV OS-F101/AS 2885/CSA Z245/DEP 31.40.20.37/GB 9711. Featured by purity, stability, low contents of C/P/S, high toughness, good weldability and precise geometrical dimensions, Baosteel HFW (ERW) pipes are widely applied for transmission of oil, gas, pulp, water, high-temperature steam and other media. Besides, it is adaptable to the requirements of future gas pipelines for onshore and marine purposes and can be used under harsh environmental conditions such as deep sea, low temperature, and acidity. Furthermore, Baosteel has also developed new products such as subsea line pipes that reach the steel grade of X65/L450, X80 ultra-high-strength line pipes, HIC/SSC resistant line pipes that reach the steel grade of X65 / L450. At present, Baosteel line pipes have been successfully applied to CNOOC JZ25-1S Submarine Pipeline; Chad Permit H Crude Oil Transportation Pipeline; Hayan Pipeline, Syria; Parim Pipeline for Sour Service, Canada; Pipe Line 2467, Pakistan; SAMARCO Slurry Pipeline in Brazil; Texan Gas Pipeline, Texas USA; QCLNG Pipeline, Australia; APA Gas Pipeline Project; and many other projects.

Structural Pipe
Based on its advantage in a complete process of puddling 每 steelmaking 每 hot-rolled steel coils 每 HFW (ERW) pipemaking, Baosteel can produce HFW (ERW) pipes for structural parts in accordance with standards such as API Spec 5L, ASTM A139, ASTM A252, JIS G3444, GB/T 3091, and API 2B. For example, 406.4mm ℅ 19.1mm X65/L450 has been applied to CNOOC Yuedong Oil Field Submarine Pipeline. This product is able to withstand low-temperature impact at -30⊥ and is widely applicable for stress-loaded and pressure-bearing structural parts and components, low-pressure oil pipes and other purposes.
