Instructions for shearing orientation
1. As for the adjustment of the space between the cutters of the slitting line, it is recommended that multiple points should be measured to ensure that all the intervals between cutters on the same axis should be consistent.
2. Recommended side interval: As for plate cutting, the side interval is normally 5 to 10% of the strip steel thickness. When the plate to be cut is soft or thin, a smaller side interval should be taken from the abovementioned range. When the material to be cut is hard or thick, a bigger side interval should be used.
3. Recommended overlap: Normally, 60% to 70%of the thickness of the strip steel to be cut is recommended.
4. It’s recommended to ensure synchronization of the rotation of the isolating ring with the operation of the strip steel to reduce possibilities of coating shedding and burr increase resulting from friction between the running strip steel and the stationary isolating ring due to desynchronization.
5. It is recommended that the felt pressing plate should be replaced on a regular basis to prevent deviation of strip steel.
